Rent a boat in Berlin - Köpenick
It's easy to rent a boat in Berlin - Köpenick at Solarwaterworld Sunboote. Just book online and show up 15 minutes before the booked time at Müggelheimer Str. 1. The person renting must be 18 years old.
You could try your luck going to our location at Müggelheimer Str. 1 to see if we have available boats. If so, we are happy to rent you a boat. However, we recommend to book online.
We'll teach you how to sail and instruct you about the rules. No license required. Have a look at how sailing a SunCat 21 (8 pax) or SunCat 23 (12 pax) works. The Sunboote all have a bimini with solar panels on them.
Rules and information about renting a Sunboote in Berlin - Köpenick:
- We open April 18th, 2025
- We are open every day - please check the booking system for specific times as they change based on the sun setting
- Up to 8 (SunCat 21) or up to 12 (SunCat 23) people per boat. No license or prior experience required. The person steering must be 18 years old
- The Sunboote's speed is about x knots (5-7 km/h) so you can focus on each other and the Berlin - Köpenick sights
- Online rebooking or change to a voucher until 24 hours before departure. Refund available before 72 hours before departure.
Pricing for SunCat 21
You can choose 1, 2 , 3, 4, 6 and 7 hours. The SunCat 21 seats up to 8 people. So if you sail 1 hour at a cost of 45 EUR and fill up the boat, the cost per person is under 6 EUR per person.
You sail the boat yourself. No license required. The boats have electric motors and solar panels on the roof. You are allowed to swim from the boats at various locations.
1 hour
A short 1-hour tour in the SunCat 21 is great to dip your toe in the water - so to say. Sail yourself on the Dahme river in the beautiful surroundings just south of Berlin. No time to swim, but time enough to feel like a skipper. Book 3 hours or more for swimming.
4 hours
Half a day on the water (4 hours) is enough time to sail to Müggelsee, drop anchor and go swimming. Bring your own og buy snacks, drinks and food from Solarwaterworld. Sunbathing should be part of your trip, and the boats have a roof if the sun gets too warm. Enjoy half a day on the water with friends, family og co-workers! There are several bathroom stops on the way.
7 hours
The whole day trip lets you sail from Köpenick via the Müggelsee and the Seddinsee going back on the Dahme River. The perfect day trip to enjoy each other's company, the beautiful surroundings while swimming and sunbathing. Remember to bring a picnic or buy food and drinks from Solarwaterworld. There are several bathroom stops on the way.
